In February, LitCap launched their new online product for fee monetization, FeeAero, at The American Association for Justice’s (AAJ) 2016 Winter Convention in Boca Raton, Florida.

FeeAero is the litigation finance industry’s first open online marketplace—a source where attorneys can monetize a portion of their earned fees that are tied up in settlement delays. By connecting cases with funding sources, FeeAero enables litigators to sell portions of their uncollected fees. Following the launch of LitCap’s case cost funding marketplace in 2013, LitCap is once again revolutionizing the way attorneys finance their practice with the launch of FeeAero.

As the AAJ 2016 Golf Simulator sponsor, LitCap’s booth drew a substantial turnout of attendees lining up to play the game, and also created the opportunity to discuss and promote FeeAero with a number of attorneys. To support the launch of FeeAero, LitCap incorporated the golf simulator’s theme in their branded signage, print collateral and giveaways. Perhaps most popular, the Golf Simulator allowed visitors to “swing” for their chance to win the daily prize, or the highly coveted Apple Watch™.

The convention, held at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, drew an attendance of over 2100 attorneys from across the country. Known for examining the most influential litigation trends, AAJ’s Convention included presentations as diverse as the Talcum trials in St. Louis and the growing torts in Xarelto and IVC filters. From the kick off meeting to the caddy shack-themed goodbye party, the 2016 AAJ Winter Convention was one for the books.

As always, we are proud to support AAJ’s numerous causes, and have some fun in the process.
LitCap would like to thank the participants in the Apple Watch giveaway. We are happy to announce that Sagi Shaked from Miami, Florida was the Grand Prize winner of the Apple Watch!

We look forward to seeing everyone this summer in Los Angeles for the 2016 AAJ Annual Convention.
